This amusing tale unfolded in early 2023 when romantic holidays with my boyfriend in Madrid were anticipated. However, a mishap with his documents ensued, resulting in his denial of boarding the plane, and consequently, his absence. Consequently, I found myself wandering the streets of Madrid alone, armed with nothing but a sketchbook and an abundance of leisure time. Subsequently, I compiled the sketches into a book, binding them together, thus creating the Madrid Sketchbook.
